WHAT WE DO

The network meets termly with a varying agenda. Outside speakers are invited to present information on relevant topics or to update members on new policy or research.

Local Authorities who are at different stages in the development of CME strategies and documentation share their information, publicity materials and documents.

Peer support is an important part of the CMENW network and colleagues share issues and concerns which affect us all and offer support and solutions to a wide range of issues.

Members also share any press items or other pieces of information.

As a strong network of Local Authorities we respond jointly to consultations from DCSF on appropriate topics which impact on CME.

Members are encouraged to use the web site to promote the work of CMENW with an 'open area' for non-members and a 'members only' section for fully subscribed members
